Wanyama kupambana kuingia kikosi cha kwanza

The past season was not a memorable one for Kenya captain Victor Wanyama at Tottenham Hotspur, as he struggled to keep his place in the starting eleven owing to a knee injury.

Wanyama returned to action during the Africa Cup of Nation, and despite failing to steer the Harambee Stars past the group stage, his presence and command in the midfield caught the eye.

With Wanyama insisting he will stay to fight for his place at Spurs, one will hope the player regains his form and can retake his place in the Londoners' midfield.
