Karius kurudi Liverpool kuchukua nafasi ya Allison
Liverpool's transfer change and the Loris Karius lesson Adrian must learn
Adrian will become the fourth different goalkeeper to start for Liverpool in a European final under Jurgen Klopp against Chelsea on Wednesday.
Karius, of course, now calls home Besiktas's Vodafone Park stadium, which will host Wednesday's match.
The German is beginning a second season on loan with the Turkish side, where he has, after one or two teething troubles, successfully started to rebuild his career after his personal nightmare in Ukraine in May of last year. A permanent move seems almost guaranteed.
The absence of alisson this week, however, will not spare Karius the inevitable comparisons with his successor, the pair representative of the shift in transfer policy from Klopp and the recruitment team that helped transform the Reds from nearly men to the real thing, the ultimate example of getting what you pay for.
Karius, young and full of promise, was bought for relative pittance of £4.7m in 2016, the Reds boss leaning on his Bundesliga knowhow by taking a punt.
